Since then I have been fortunate enough to travel to Haiti each year with the St. Boniface Haiti Foundation (SBHF). I have witnessed amazing progress and captured the life of the beautiful people in a new photo book called Faces of Hope.
Faces of Hope honors and celebrates the resilient spirit of the people of Haiti. It is now available on Amazon and 100% of the proceeds goes directly to SBHF Hospital and the people who desperately need it. Please click on the link for more info or to order your copy today.
Camp Kirk is an overnight camp offering enriched summer experiences for kids 6-13 years with a higher level of support and special accommodations.

During my extra time in Kirkfield, Ontario this summer I decided to start experimenting with time-lapse photography using the Nikon D600.
Commencing this challenge meant a lot of experimentation, late nights and really, really early mornings running into Black Bears and Coyotes along the way to retrieve the camera.
It always amazes me, the amount of wilderness we live in and their presence tells me that we are intruding on their domain, especially these creatures that own the dark mysterious night.
It's been an amazing summer shooting for Camp Kirk in Orillia, Ontario Canada. I'm so happy to have had the opportunity to live and work with some very passionate people, and I've met so many inspiring kids over the last few months. What I have learned is: Kids at Camp Kirk (and everywhere in the world) don't have disabilities, they have abilities and can reach beyond any challenge presented to them, giving them the opportunity and encouragement to shine.
And wow, did they shine! Over 20,000 photos and 600 video clips were captured, putting the Nikon D600 through it's paces.
The pictures of my children truly capture who they are. I want to thank u for this as it is sometimes hard with day to day struggles, but u gave me a look at what I know is there. Thank you!!!!
The pictures on your website are amazing!!! Wow! Terry, you are very talented. I've enjoyed all of the pictures and videos you've posted for Camp Kirk. Angie still talks about you.
Near Orillia, Ontario kids can be themselves and feel at home at camp. In a fun-loving and accepting environment in Central Ontario, there is nothing more inspiring than seeing kids with Learning Disabilities conquer the 35 foot rock wall (some of the kids do it blindfolded!), building confidence and feeling awesome.
I encourage you to visit and like Camp Kirk's Facebook Page to help support kids!
